Attribute Description
Soil Type Specify how to define pervious cover/loss data when using the ILSAX runoff method. Two methods are available - Pre-defined, and User Defined. If you choose Pre-defined, then you can specify the ILSAX Soil Value, as a number between 1 and 4. If you choose User Defined, then you can specify seven properties, to define the soil.
ILSAX Soil Value The soil coefficient for normal conditions. This is available when "Soil Type" is Pre-defined. An integer value of 1, 2, 3, or 4 corresponds to hydrologic soil groups A, B, C, or D in TR-55 " Urban Hydrology for Small Watersheds". A non-integer value - e.g. 2.5, interpolates between two soil groups.
AMC 1 Depth The 1st rainfall depth for pervious ILSAX cover.
AMC 2 Depth The 2nd rainfall depth for pervious ILSAX cover.
AMC 3 Depth The 3rd rainfall depth for pervious ILSAX cover.
AMC 4 Depth The 4th rainfall depth for pervious ILSAX cover.
fo (ILSAX) The initial or maximum infiltration rate on Horton infiltration curve.
fc (ILSAX) The equilibrium infiltration rate on the Horton infiltration curve, reached once the soil is saturated.
K (ILSAX) Decay constant associated with the soil.
fi (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) The antecedent rainfall depth for the AMC and soil type determined from a predefined infiltration curve.
fo (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) The initial infiltration rate based on the AMC and soil type determined from a predefined infiltration curve.
fc (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) The final infiltration rate based on the AMC and soil type determined from a predefined infiltration curve.
K (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) Shape factor determined from a predefined table of ILSAX parameters.
Accumulated Diminishing Infiltration (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) The accumulated diminishing infiltration based on the ILSAX model parameters.
Initial Rate (ILSAX) (Calculated) (Result) The initial infiltration rate determined from a predefined table of ILSAX parameters based on the AMC and soil type.
